We're Taking No Chances

We have put in place as many measures and procedures as we possibly can to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all visitors and will be constantly updating these measures as any news filters through from the Scottish Government.

There’s something for everyone at the Speyside Centre, come for one reason, stay for plenty of others! We have an extensive garden centre and shop, restaurant with a varied and child-friendly menu options as well as a children’s play area, wildlife viewing area and soon to open experiences such as the Peat Reek visitor experience.

Wildlife Viewing Area

Well visited by red squirrels and a huge variety of birds, the wildlife viewing area is nestled beneath a weeping larch tree and has two sheltered huts with ample seating enabling you to relax and watch Strathspeys furry and feathered friends in a natural setting.

Toddlers Play Area

The little ones love the Toddlers Play Area, it’s tucked underneath the birch trees next to the Garden Centre and there’s swings, a slide, fort and play hut with decking, it’s a safe space for the wee ones to play while Mum and Dad browse around the rest of the Centre.

Peat Reek Visitor Experience

*To be Completed Spring 2021

The ‘Peat Reek’ experience will bring together the Myths, Legends, Flora. Fauna, History and up to date activities to be enjoyed within the Cairngorms National Park

From the Big Grey Man of Ben MacDui, the Fairy King of Glenmore, the red cloaked Goblin of Coylum and the notorious whisky smugglers and stills, there’s something for everyone.

For a bit of fun you will be able to dress up in various traditional outfits as well as characters from the popular Outlander series.

There will also be a video presentation showing a host of activities and attractions you can take part in or visit while experiencing the largest National Park in Great Britain.
